Feature

Employee time tracking that does not rely on anyone remembering

Manual timesheets are guesses written on a Friday afternoon. BeActive records hours as they happen — first login to last activity, broken down by day, shift and project — so the numbers you plan and bill from are the numbers that actually occurred.

What you get

How it works in practice

Starts itself

Tracking begins at login and stops at sign-out. There is no button to press, so there is no forgotten timer and no reconstructed week.

Project and task time

Attribute time to clients, projects or internal cost centres. Roll it up per person, per team or per month.

Manual adjustments, logged

People can add offline work — a client call from the car, a site visit. Every edit keeps an audit trail of who changed what.

Export to payroll

CSV and Excel exports, plus scheduled emailed reports, matched to your pay cycle rather than ours.

The shape of it

What this module is actually doing

Automatic hours per person, project and shift. No timers to start, nothing to chase.

The drawing is a diagram, not a screenshot and not a customer's data. Every graphic on this site is generated from our own geometry rather than sourced as an image, which is also why you will not find a stock photograph or a borrowed dashboard anywhere on it.

Questions

What people ask about this

Do employees have to start and stop a timer?

No. Tracking follows the login session. Manual entries exist for offline work, but nobody has to remember to press anything for their regular day to be recorded.

How accurate is the recorded time?

Activity is sampled continuously and stored to the minute. Idle periods are separated from active time, so an eight-hour login does not silently become eight hours of work.

Can we correct a bad day of data?

Yes. Managers can adjust entries, and every adjustment records the original value, the new value, the person who made it and the reason.

Does it work offline?

The desktop agent buffers locally and syncs when the connection returns, so a dropped link does not create a hole in the timesheet.
