Attendance should not be a spreadsheet someone maintains by hand. BeActive derives it from activity that already exists: who started when, who is on shift now, who was late, who worked through, and which timesheets are ready to approve.

Shift and roster aware
Define shifts per team or site. Attendance is measured against the roster that applies, including split shifts and rotations.
Late and absence flags
Late starts, early finishes and no-shows surface the same morning, not in a month-end reconciliation.
Leave and holidays
Approved leave and public holidays by region are excluded from absence reporting automatically.
Timesheet approval
Managers approve a pre-filled timesheet rather than assembling one. Approved output exports straight to payroll.

What people ask about this
Does this replace our payroll system?
No. BeActive produces the approved hours your payroll system consumes, by export or API. It is the input, not the replacement.
How are multiple shifts and time zones handled?
Shifts are defined per team or site with their own time zone, so a Manila night shift and a Sydney day shift both report correctly.
What about people who work away from a computer?
They can clock in and out manually, and their away-from-system time is classified as work rather than counted as absence.
