Feature
Activity and idle time monitoring, without the creepiness
The gap between "logged in for nine hours" and "worked for nine hours" is where operational problems hide. BeActive measures active time, idle time and away-from-system time separately — and shows every employee exactly the same view their manager sees.
What you get
How it works in practice
Idle thresholds you choose
Five minutes of no input might be thinking, or a coffee. You decide where idle begins — per team, not per vendor default.
Away-from-system tracking
Meetings, site visits and phone work are real work. Classify away time instead of counting it as a gap.
Employees see their own data
Every person has a dashboard of their own day. Monitoring people can inspect is monitoring people accept.
Exception alerts
Get notified about the patterns that matter — a shift with no activity, sustained overtime, a sudden drop — rather than reading every row.
The shape of it
What this module is actually doing
Active versus idle versus away, with thresholds you set and full employee visibility.
The drawing is a diagram, not a screenshot and not a customer's data. Every graphic on this site is generated from our own geometry rather than sourced as an image, which is also why you will not find a stock photograph or a borrowed dashboard anywhere on it.

Questions
What people ask about this
Does BeActive log keystrokes?
No. We record that input occurred, never what was typed. Keystroke content is not captured, stored or transmitted at any point.
Can employees see what is being tracked?
Yes, and we consider this essential rather than optional. Each person gets the same day view their manager sees, and the desktop agent shows a visible tracking indicator.
What counts as idle?
A period with no keyboard or mouse input longer than the threshold your administrator sets. The default is five minutes; teams doing long-form reading or phone work usually raise it.
Is monitoring after hours possible?
Tracking can be restricted to defined working hours and shifts, so personal time on a company laptop is not recorded.
